Onew Leader of SHINee

Lee Jin Ki or Onew is the leader and oldest member of Korea Boy Band SHINee. Onew was discovered at the “2006 S.M. Academy Casting”. Onew collaborated with Lee Hyun Ji, former member of project group Banana Girl, for her song “Vanilla Love”. He was also featured in a duet, entitled One Year Later “1년 後”, with Girls’ Generation member Jessica for their mini-album Tell Me Your Wish.
Onew is the leader of Shinee. Alongside Jonghyun & Key he plays the role in being one of the lead vocals. From the reality show YunHaNamDul his gag ‘Onew Condition’ where he spaces out or does random things that make no sense in the situation he’s in - Shinee have made it an illness for him (lol) Onew condition has also been found to be contagious.

SHINee’s Onew gets Swine Flu and Onew Sangtae

The curse of the swine flu seems to have struck SHINee. Having only just reported hours earlier that Jonghyun had recovered fully from swine flu, it was reported now that SHINee’s leader, Onew has also been hit by it.

The announcement came at around 6pm on 7th November as it was reported that Onew had developed a gentle, mild fever last night. He was sent to the hospital today and tests have shown that he has contracted swine flu.

Onew has been prescribed Tamiflu and is now back home resting.

The other three SHINee members, Key, Minho and Taemin were also tested for precaution, and neither of them have shown any symptoms of the illness fortunately.

So that explains why SHINee wasn’t performing on Music Core as scheduled today.

So with Onew at home resting, it might look like SHINee will be performing as a 4-member group instead on the 8th November episode of Inkigayo. But it was revealed that Super Junior’s leader, Leeteuk will take the place of Onew for tomorrow.

Onew and SHINee ideal Girl

SHINee revealed their ideal girl types on Kim Jung Eun's Chocolate. Out of the five, Onew made the most surprising choice.

Onew said, "Lee Young Hyun (from Big Mama) is my ideal type. Starting at a young age, I loved listening to Big Mama's Resignation. Her voice is so nice. My ideal type is someone who has a nice voice and soft hands and she fits into those categories."

I have to go with Onew on this one. Resignation is an amazing song, definitely a k-pop classic.

Minho's revealed, "I like Kim Tae Hee. She's smart, pretty and has a charming smile." For Jonghyun chose Han Chae Young, stating, "I saw her once at an awards show and she was so beautiful."

Lastly, Key expressed, "I like Kim Jung Eun. She's very pretty and honest." He rained on Kim Jung Eun's parade by adding, "When Lovers in Paris was on, I was in elementary school." He did a great job making her feel nice and old, eh?

Sadly, Taemin was not present but the rest put on an amazing show for everyone. I guess we can all speculate... maybe he's got requited feelings for Brown Eyed Girl leader Jea? Scandalous!

SNSD's Jessica and SHINee's Onew Get Together on single "One Year Later"

SNSD's Jessica and Shinee's Onew performed on MBC's 'Music Core' on August 1. The song they performed together is 'One Year Later,' which is included in SNSD's second mini album.

'One Year Later' is a song about two lovers that break up over a trivial matter and then happen to see each other a year later.

Kim Ryeowook Super Junior Shortest Member

Kim Ryeowook is one of the four lead vocalist of Korean Boyband Super Junior. Ryeowook is also a member of Super Junior-K.R.Y and Super Junior-M, two subgroups that are branched out from the main group. Along with four other members of Super Junior, he is one of the first Korean artists to appear on Chinese postage stamps.

Kim Ryeowook may be the shortest member of the group with height 173 cm, he shorter than Donghae and Lee Sungmin (175 cm).

Ryeowook made his first casting on  CMB Youth ChinChin Festival Popular Reward 2004. His first Appearance: June 2004, MBC "Starry Night" Contest 1st Place.

Ryeowook Biography

Kim Ryeowook (born June 21, 1987), more commonly credited as Ryeowook, is a Korean singer, dancer, occasional actor, and the third youngest member of Super Junior. He is recognized by his fellow members as the "eternal magnae" (eternal youngest) of the group, as well as one of the three most vocally powerful in the group (Super Junior - K.R.Y). Even before Kyuhyun's addition to the group in May 2006, Ryeowook commonly called himself the youngest despite being a few months older than Kibum. Ryeowook is currently studying at Inha University. He is also one of the first Korean artists to appear on Chinese postage stamps.

Ryeowook Debut Years :

Kim Ryeowook was discovered through the CMB Youth ChinChin Festival in 2004 and signed a contract with SM Entertainment soon afterwards after impressing judges with his singing talent. Trained in areas of singing, dancing ,and acting Ryeowook placed particular efforts into his vocal training and music composition as he was most concerned in those areas.

Ryeowook Acting :

Ryeowook made his acting debut in the film, Attack on the Pin-Up Boys, a
high-school comedy/mystery film, in which he plays the eccentric vice president of the student council. Ryeowook's acting gained positive feedback from critics and he was nominated Best Supporting Actor and [i]Best Comedic Performance at the Korean Movie Awards.

Ryeowook in Super Junior :

Ryeowook was the last to join Super Junior before Kyuhyun, only joining the group several weeks before their official debut in 2005. Having undergone only two months of training under SM Entertainment, Ryeowook's late addition was rumored to be a replacement of a previous SM trainee that was supposed to debut as a member of Super Junior 05, the first generation of Super Junior.

On November 6, 2005, Ryeowook along with eleven other members of Super Junior 05, officially debuted on SBS's Popular Songs performing the first single "TWINS (Knock Out)." The group released their full studio album a month later, and the album debuted as #3 on the monthly MIAK K-pop album charts. As the group's second single, "Miracle", came to an end, his talent agency was about to recruit new members for the next Super Junior generation, Super Junior 06, with Ryeowook staying as an undergraduate member. However, plans changed when the company added in a thirteenth member, Kyuhyun, and the company declared that future Super Junior generations were rumors.[citation needed] The group dropped the suffix "05" and became officially Super Junior. The new group hit big after they released their first CD single "U" the following summer in 2006, which became Super Junior's most successful single in the music charts, leading Super Junior to set #1 records in their music career since then. A year later in the fall of 2007, the group released their second official album, Don't Don, which became Super Junior's best-selling album and Korea's second best-selling album of the year.

In late 2006, Ryeowook became a member of Super Junior's first subgroup, Super Junior-K.R.Y. The trio debuted on November 5, 2006 on KBS's Music Bank. In early 2008, Ryeowook was placed in another Super Junior subgroup, Super Junior-M. The subgroup specializes in singing Mandarin songs, including Mandarin versions of Super Junior's Korean songs, bringing the K-pop influence into the Chinese music industry. Super Junior-M is the first international music group in the Chinese music industry to have members of both Chinese and Korean descent. The seven-member group debuted in China on April 8, 2008 at the 8th Annual Music Chart Awards with the release of their first single music video, "U". The subgroup released their first Chinese-language studio album, Me on May 2, 2008. The album debuted on Taiwan's G-music combo charts as #2 and #1 on many of China's and Thailand's music charts.

Ryeowook is also featured in one of K.Will's song "Teardrops". Ryeowook is the first member of Super Junior to have a solo in a Super Junior album in their fourth album entitled Bonamana in the song One Fine Spring Day.

Ryeowook compose song 'Memories in Breeze"

Ryeowook successfully composed a song by himself titled "Memories in Breeze"

Ryeowook's first composition to be officially released was "Love U More", found on the repackaged Sorry, Sorry Version C. He co-wrote the lyrics with fellow Super Junior member Sungmin. Ryeowook is also credited for musical arrangement in the liner notes of the album.

Donghae was born in Mokpo, Jeollanam on October 15, 1986. Under SM Entertainment, Donghae was put in singing, dancing, and acting lessons that same year. He was then recruited into a five-member boy band Smile, with future band mate Leeteuk, but the idea was soon dropped. In 2004, Donghae was put into another boy band and formed Super Junior with eleven other trainees. The group later became known as Super Junior 05, the presumed first generation of the rotational music group, Super Junior. Lee DongHae Pre-debut

Donghae’s choice to pursue a career as a singer was motivated by his father’s lifelong dream. His father had wanted to pursue a singing career but was unable to, and so Donghae lived out his father’s dream. Originally, he wanted to become a professional athlete (soccer) but he had also always loved dancing for his father. In 7th grade, Donghae asked his father if he could audition and his father replied “yes” while slipping some money into his hand. Donghae fortunately passed but was forced to move to Seoul and leave behind his family in Mokpo.

In 2001, Donghae won first place along with Lee Sungmin (Super Junior) in SM’s Youth Best Contest for Best Outward Appearance. He was then accepted into SM Entertainment and began training in dancing, singing, and acting. He was soon thereafter placed in a five member group along with future Super Junior member Park Jungsu (LeeTeuk) that fell through. Names of the group included “Smile”, “OK”, and “Pricor”. In 2004, Donghae was placed into the project group Super Junior and went on to debut in Super Junior ’05. Several days before his official debut, Donghae made an appearance on Shin Dong Yup’s “There Is, There Isn’t” panel.

Lee DongHae Debut and Best Rookie Award

Donghae debuted on November 6, 2005 on SBS Inkigayo in Super Junior performing their first single “Twins (Knock out)”. His looks, personality, and voice captured the hearts of many fans and led him to be one of the most popular stars in Asia today.

When Super Junior won the Best Rookie Award for their song “U” in 2006, Donghae’s speech was made out to his father. He began to shed tears while saying his thank you’s to his father who had passed away just a few months earlier.

On April 5, 2008, Donghae was announced as one of the members of the new sub-unit Super Junior M(Mandarin-previously CHINA). On April 8th, their Chinese version of “U” was released and on May 2nd, Super Junior M released their first official album “Me”. Super Junior M’s first mini-album was released on September 28, 2009. Donghae is continuously working hard to learn Mandarin in order to be a great asset to the group.

Lee DongHae Acting

Donghae made his acting debut in Super Junior's horror documentary Mystery 6, broadcasted in early 2006. The documentary surrounds Donghae and his peculiar ability to see and feel ghosts. In August 2006, Donghae played the role of a human turned cyborg in the Korean version of BoA's music video drama, "Key of Heart," his first lead appearance in a music video. Donghae's official debut as an actor was in July 2007, with the release of Super Junior's debut film, Attack on the Pin-Up Boys. Donghae stars as a class mate and close friend of Kim Kibum, a high school student who investigates on a mysterious attack on boys in various high schools in town.

In late 2007 Donghae featured in Girls' Generation's "Kissing You" music video, and in early 2009, in Ariel Lin's "Firefly" MV along with band mate Siwon.

Also, he and Kyuhyun appeared and sang for facial wash product commercial "Happy Bubble" with actress Han Ji Min. A full music video was released on August 19, 2009.

He played Zhang Li Yin's love interest on her music video, 晴天雨天 (Moving On). A full music video was released on October 19, 2009.

Lee DongHae and Jessica

Lee Donghae is frequently rumoured in a relationship with girl's Generation's Jessica Jung. The intense and disgusting lip action pictured above, is allegedly Super Junior’s Dong Hae and Girls Generation Jessica Jung. The rumors surrounding this photo are rampant, and unfortunately we can neither confirm or deny them. However, there is an undeniable resemblance, enough to fuel a rumor. And it’s also been said that Jessica Jung has been around the proverbial block, in fact with other members of Super Junior, which we find to be downright incestuous.

It was rumored quite awhile ago that they were dating, but I believe it has been denied by both. The rumors appeared when pictures of them kissing were linked to the media. However, it turned out that it wasn't them in the pictures, but lookalikes.

Does Lee Donghae from Super Junior has a Girlfriend?

While Super Junior came to Thailand, they had a lot of activities with their fans. However Lee Donghae seem to be more special, he had special interview in HOT FM radio and “Woody talk” TV program also. Woody taught Donghae speak Thai many words, in addition “Khun-keu-kwam-as-sa-chan-khong-phom” (You’re my mirecle) and “Nean-ner” (very smooth) that are the part of CF word, he spoke “A-roi-mai” (Delicious?), “khun-lor-mak” (You’re so handsome) and “phom-lor-kwa” (I’m better) also. But the most interested thing wasn’t all that word. It is this question “Donghae, Do you have girlfriend?”. Donghae answer with strong voice for emphasize “I have no girlfriend at all !!”. He also added “I’m so lonely, I have the mobile phone but have no one called me.” Then woody asked him for his phone number but Donghae fudge on that ask with very cute smile and said that “I can’t give you now, but I’ll ask SM to SMS to you, we can talk after that.”

Dong-hae has daughters?

Super Junior’s Dong-hae revealed a surprising, yet beautiful picture of him with two adorably cute girls ,on June 14th via Twitter. The singer proclaimed that he wanted to become a father of adorable children(like these two) in the future. The reason for the photo is unknown, but these two girls have got to be one of the cutest seen.Could they be young fans?

Dong-hae tweeted, “I met two angels. They were very very cute. I love kids. In the future, I’ll be a loving father, right?“ He may be doubting himself, but we all know he will be!

Currently,Dong-hae and rest of Super Junior are continuing their success with the hit single “Bonamana”.

Super Junior - About Lee Teuk

Park Jungsu (박정수) or Leeteuk (이특) is the leader of Korean boyband member Super Junior. and also the oldest member of the group. His stage name literally means "special". He was the first member of Super Junior that was accepted into SM Entertainment.

Leeteuk explained that he uses a stage name due to his desire to have a name with the same effects as Kangta (and to also prevent confusion with veteran actress Park Jung-su). His stage name denotes being "special" as he wants to be a special member in the group. Leeteuk also became known as the "special leader" (특별한리더) of the group.

Leeteuk Pre-Debut

In early 2000, Park Jung-su was scouted by a talent agent in Myeongdong. He was asked to audition for the Starlight Casting System 2000, which soon signed him into SM Entertainment that same year. Park made an extremely brief cameo appearance in the MBC Korean drama All About Eve in 2000 and was also a model for Pepsi. He was then put into a five-member boy band along with his future Super Junior bandmate, Donghae by his talent agency before this idea was dropped. Some of the names for this group were OK, Pricor and Smile. After he was put in Super Junior, Park wanted a stage name similar to Kangta and thus chose the name Leeteuk. Teuk, which means "special." This was explained on "Happy Together Friends"
Leeteuk Debut

On November 6, 2005, Leeteuk as a part of Super Junior officially debuted on SBS's Popular Songs performing the group's first single "TWINS (Knock Out)." Being the oldest of the group, Leeteuk was chosen to be the leader of Super Junior, leading and guiding the group in media interviews and schedules. Since the debut of Super Junior, Leeteuk has been a regular MC for M.NET's M!Countdown along with Super Junior members Kang-In and Shindong. However, since late 2006, Eunhyuk replaced Kang-In's position. Due to concert tour schedules and preparations for the new album, Leeteuk, Shindong, and Eunhyuk decided to leave their MC seats, their last day on March 27, 2008. Along with Eunhyuk, Leeteuk is also the DJ for KBS's Super Junior Kiss the Radio since August 21, 2006. Starting December 2007, Leeteuk became the host of his own show, Leeteuk's Love Fighter, a variety show of Leeteuk helping to solve troubled couples' problems.

Leeteuk Car Accident

Leeteuk became seriously injured in a car accident at the morning of April 19, 2007 when returning home after a recording of Super Junior Kiss the Radio. Along with Leeteuk, fellow members Shindong, Eunhyuk, Kyuhyun, and two managers also became victims. Although Shindong and Eunhyuk suffered minor injuries, Leeteuk and Kyuhyun sustained more serious injuries, which required for the two be kept in the hospital for several more days. Leeteuk had glass shards embedded into his back and above his eyes and had a successful surgery of 170 stitches in removing most of them. Leeteuk was discharged out of the hospital on April 30, 2007. However, Leeteuk may still need further surgeries to remove or minimize the scars. Due to Leeteuk's fast recovery, he was in time to do a last-minute performance in Super Junior's debut film, Attack on the Pin-Up Boys (2007), playing a panda mascot, whch was originally played by Ryeowook.

Leeteuk Cyber Controversy

Three months after the car accident on April 19, Leeteuk appeared as a guest on an episode of School of Rock on July 30, 2007. Leeteuk falsely stated that Korean figure skater, Kim Yu-Na refused his cyworld invitation. After the programme aired, Leeteuk's fans posted over 7,000 comments on Kim's cyworld. Kim's fans counter-attacked Leeteuk's cyworld, posting hateful comments on his cyworld as well. A day later after the incident Kim publicly clarified that she never refused such an invitation. Ultimately, Leeteuk had to post an official apology for the incident and acknowledged that the refusal never occurred. Leeteuk explained that he wanted to make an interesting topic for the television program and did not expect such a negative consequence. A hearing was held to discuss the incident on August 9, 2007. The panel held in August 2007 discussed that it is hard to know whether a guest on a show is telling the truth or not, since Leeteuk did not tell the story during a live broadcast. Since the show did not verify the story before it was aired, the show has to take responsibility for the incident to have occurred. Charges were not pressed against Leeteuk. Regardless of the clashes, both Kim and Leeteuk became closer and they continued to work together to endorse uniforms for IVY Club.

Leeteuk and Yoona from SNSD

Yoonah has revealed that Leeteuk has wanted to marry her for 7 years. On the show SBS “Strong heart” which was aired on October 27th, Yoonah said “There is a person here who always said to me that I’m his ideal type” and caught attention from other people. Then she pointed out that person is Super Junior’s Leeteuk. She said “I was a trainee since I’m 13. Leeteuk was 20 then and since that time, he always says jokingly to me that I should marry him”. After hearing this, Leeteuk had said without hesitant “Yoonah is really my ideal type” and “Yoonah calls me every night to ask me to give her advice. So I really think that she likes me” MC Lee SeungGi after heard Leeteuk said that Yoonah was his ideal type had said “I always think that Leeteuk is a weird person”. Later on, FTTS’s Brian had said “Yoonah is almost my ideal type…I will make her my girl…” which made Leeteuk covered Yoonah’s ears with both his hands and made everybody laughing.

Lee Teuk and SNSD TaeYeon brother-sister love?

In the recent photos of KBS Super Junior Kiss The Radio show, So Nyeo Shi Dae members SooYoung, HyoYeon, YoonA, SeoHyun and TaeYeon were featured as guest appearances on the show.

And what had especially caught the attention of many netizens was TaeYeon and Lee Teuk acting intimately in the photos.

SNSD-SuJu brother-side love?

Out of 9 members, only 5 members were present due to other solo activities. And SeoHyun was not in the photo because she had to attend her graduation ceremony.

Lee Teuk and Taeyeon are dating ?

According to the “know-it-all” netizens, the answer is yes. So what’s all the random Lee Teuk & Taeyeon hype about? It turns out that the two idol stars were apparently caught wearing a same necklace, resulting in numerous speculations of their mystery relationship. (Taecyeon & YoonA anyone?) Of course, this can just be a mere coincidence, possibly caused by being in the same company with same stylists who provide them such accessories. But again, the fact that the two both belong in the same company supports their relationship at the same time. The netizens expressed, “They look so good together.” “The power of the netizens… amazing.” “I hope they are not dating. Taeyeon’s mine.” “Stupid… It’s just a coincidence.” So you be the judge – is there really something fishy between them, or is this just another act of netizens that is unworthy of your attention?
